Adult Courses
Our adult classes are inclusive and we offer the same opportunities regardless of gender; however, we also offer female only courses in order to provide a comfortable environment for women to feel safe in their learning environment. These courses range from learning the safe use of tools used around the home such as drills, circular saws and sanders to vehicle emergency preparedness and basic maintenance. Courses are designed to help enable people to empower themselves to pursue those projects they’ve always wanted to do or to just feel more safe and confident on the road or when visiting a mechanic. In an ever-growing, more expensive world, it doesn’t hurt to save money either!
Automotive

We offer a few automotive courses to provide adults and young adults with the knowledge and confidence necessary when owing a vehicle, especially on Vancouver Island where a tow truck or cell service is not always readily accessible. Don’t be stuck in the wet coast rain waiting for help or pay an over-priced shop to do your basic maintenance. Get back up and on the road by yourself!
Automotive Safety
This half-day course will provide you with the basic knowledge one needs during typical automotive emergency situations. You will learn safe vehicle jacking procedures; how to change and patch a tire; how to jump start your car using another vehicle, a booster pack, and plug in charger; and how to manage overheating. You will leave with handouts to keep in your vehicle for your reference and an emergency tire repair kit!

NOTE: As a new business, I am still developing and getting started. Right now, I am only offering the Vehicle Emergency Safety workshop but will be expanding to the other workshops in due time. If you see one of particular interest, please send me an inquiry. If there is interest in specific workshops, I’ll work hard to get those ones out sooner. Thank you for your patience while I get going.
